Founded in 1976, the Norfolk Task Force on Aging began as a community planning service offering help to agencies providing services to older citizens. Still fulfilling that purpose today, our members come together to share ideas in order to meet the ever-changing needs of our community’s older adults.
We fulfill our mission by partnering with businesses and area service providers to bring available resources to Norfolk seniors. This is accomplished through task force membership and donation of funds and/or services.
Not only do we assist agencies in planning, we raise funds to award those agencies and other organizations that tend to the specific needs of seniors in our community.
